Does your dog bite?
No.
Ow! Hey, you said your dog doesn’t bite!
That’s not my dog.
(Is that deceptively honest?)
It means that someone is telling the truth, but that there are things they’re NOT saying that are also true, and that bear on the subject at hand. They should be telling ALL of the truths, but because they are not, their honesty is real, but deceptive.
Ya gotta love Y!A’s systems. Thanks for the chuckle!
Could be so many things really.
Overall a tricker-ly honest person, who depending on motives needs to watched cafefully.
Sometimes it takes a little more to to understand, and they are easily misunderstood, I guess really we all could be guilty of at some point.
Edit- The way I word things sometimes even my poems end up suggested in this catagory?
An Oxymoron, like "Jumbo Shrimp".
I think it means saying something truthfully but not everything so you are deceiving by omission.
