I want to know that online dating sites such as e-harmoney, Yahoo Personals, and Match.com are a buch of rip off. I used to go on Match.com and they rip me off by charging me a lot when I stop subcribing and they charged me a lot of money. I hate that. So I stop using Match.com and also Yahoo Personals and just stick with MySpace.com and Friendster.com which I liked better. So do you think that those sites are a buch of rip off. And plus, I don’t think that meeting people from any of those websites are no good. What do you think?

It seems like more than half of the Yahoo Answers population is in singles and dating, why do you think that is so?

It does seem odd that Yahoo Personals online dating has every other ethnic group but Scandinavia is left out as a choice.

I would very much like to go back to my roots and meet a Norwegian or a Swede, anyone have any ideas? Thanks. JohnW

Yahoo Personals or online dating in general?

How many times have I paid for a membership on Yahoo Personals and not one person was interesting and as soon as I let that subscription expire all sorts of people came out of the woodwork that I would consider dating! How frustrating! I think that Yahoo Personals should make it a free service like most other dating sites. Just as frustrating is when you send someone that is interesting a wink that says "How would you like to be contacted?" hoping that they GET IT that you have no means of communication unless they leave an email address or phone number and they answer back with no real contact information. That is the end of that romance unless I wanted to sign up for one person which isn’t worth it for me to pay. Has this happened to you? What are your thoughts and ideas?

I heard that people that go on Online Dating websites such as Match.com or Yahoo Personals are liars. I had a former classmate of mine who is a liar and she goes on both Yahoo Personals and Match.com. She has a boyfriend now but I don’t know why she still goes on those sites still. Usually people who go on that site and found a mate already have delete their profile. And she should have delete her profile if she has a boyfriend now but she still goes on those sites. She told me before that she met her boyfriend at a party of her friends… Is that really true that people who are in a relationship right now are going to end up just because of those sites which are fraud. I hope so for her who is a big fat liar. I hope that she gets busted one of these days.

Meaning , non serious profiles that are a joke or just plain bogus, placed by people who messing around. Although they look legitimate sometimes. I have a couple different contacts on yahoo personals and I am suspicious of them. One for example is someone very beautiful, but something just doesn’t seem legitimate about the profile. How do you tell if profiles are the real deal or no?

I’m not real impressed with Match.com and Yahoo personals, what other web sites have others used to meet people and tell me why you like it.

Yahoo personals online dating?

Has anyone tried the yahoo personals online dating site? If so is it any good and what should you watch out for? I have briefly looked through some of the matches and some of them seem a little too good. Any advice would be helpful before I give it a try;-)
