what is the best online dating site?

Ive checked out a few dating sites but have not payed yet and want to chose the best site before making any real move. I am looking for the best date site that give out the most matches, according to number of matches, accuracy of chemistry of matches and the over all site, that is easily to navigate. I been to a few sites like yahoo personals, christian mingles and eharmony. I got to say I like all three sites the only thing is eharmony gives out few matches it seems like and you can only see the pics if you pay and the other sites are great but are they worth the money? I am 28/m and I am looking for site geared towards finding some one around my age. Any suggestions?

Online dating?

First a little background; I’m 26 and decent looking. I’ve been a few long term relationships, the most recent one ending about a month ago after about 1 year. I just moved to a small town, and I am interested in getting back out there in the dating scene. I’ve always had a blast dating and I really enjoy getting to know people. I’m sick of the bar scene (after 4 years of bartending, I’m sick of sleazy pick up lines!). So I decided to try online dating, not much luck. The first guy obviously put someone elses picture up, the second lied about his age, the third was so perverted I left before our lunch arrived and the fourth wasn’t good looking at all (I know that sounds shallow, but there has to be chemistry, right?). So here are my questions: first, does any one have any tips to online dating, or maybe a good site for northern california (I’ve tried e-harmony and yahoo personals). And second, besides fate, bars, and the internet; how else do you meet cute single guys?
Wow, you know what sucks? Is that people with yahoo messenger can read these questions. I number four, who was at least a very nice guy. Just read my message. Guess what I feel like? Starts with a B!

ANYBODY'S view about " Dating " websites..?

I am curious to know what the masses think about this online dating stuff. Has anybody actually found a special somebody? I have thought about it…like, what type of people will answer my ads..lol Which site is a good one to try?? E-Harmony? True.com? Yahoo Personals?? ANY ideas, examples, suggestions are welcome.. thx

I’ve noticed that on most dating websites such as match.com, craigslist.org, yahoo personals, women tend to only respond to ads from men that are extremely good looking. For the most part, anything less you hardly get anything or nothing at all. I’ve done an experiment where I’ve posted a hot male model but write a bad/uneducated sounding post and I’d still get resposes whereas I’d write a heartfelt post but put a decent /above avg guy’s picture up and I get hardly anything. Even unattractive or average women just respond to the good looking guy’s post and don’t humble themselves to find someone just decent around their level. Why is that? How can people find dating opportunities online if women only reply to you only if you look literally like a male model?
to LISA K…just because you’re attractive doesn’t mean you think you should be getting abercrombie and fitch models. For example just because you’re a 6 doesn’t mean you deserve a 10 and only reply to 10′s. You tend to forget that men will literally ***** anything which is why they give you all the attention making you feel like you’re attractive

Anxiety and online dating?? DO or dont??

Ok I am Male 35. Does anyone with anxiety disorder find it hard to tell others that they have anxiety disorder when they are dating or talking with a love interest?? I mean I put on my online yahoo personals they I have Anxiety and i feel like I have lepracy or some infectious disease from the responces i have been getting.

thinking about online dating sites, but would like a recomendation. Yahoo personals, eharmony, chemistry, match.com

I want to know that online dating sites such as e-harmoney, Yahoo Personals, and Match.com are a buch of rip off. I used to go on Match.com and they rip me off by charging me a lot when I stop subcribing and they charged me a lot of money. I hate that. So I stop using Match.com and also Yahoo Personals and just stick with MySpace.com and Friendster.com which I liked better. So do you think that those sites are a buch of rip off. And plus, I don’t think that meeting people from any of those websites are no good. What do you think?

It does seem odd that Yahoo Personals online dating has every other ethnic group but Scandinavia is left out as a choice.

I would very much like to go back to my roots and meet a Norwegian or a Swede, anyone have any ideas? Thanks. JohnW

I heard that people that go on Online Dating websites such as Match.com or Yahoo Personals are liars. I had a former classmate of mine who is a liar and she goes on both Yahoo Personals and Match.com. She has a boyfriend now but I don’t know why she still goes on those sites still. Usually people who go on that site and found a mate already have delete their profile. And she should have delete her profile if she has a boyfriend now but she still goes on those sites. She told me before that she met her boyfriend at a party of her friends… Is that really true that people who are in a relationship right now are going to end up just because of those sites which are fraud. I hope so for her who is a big fat liar. I hope that she gets busted one of these days.

Yahoo personals online dating?

Has anyone tried the yahoo personals online dating site? If so is it any good and what should you watch out for? I have briefly looked through some of the matches and some of them seem a little too good. Any advice would be helpful before I give it a try;-)
