I have started an online dating site for English men to meet South African women and I would like to know anything that people feel they want from a dating site, all ideas and past experiences, good and bad welcome.
Anyone met someone that they had a really strong connection with in person? how did it go? Really want to know how the strong chemistry of talking/texting can carry over to the real world. Anyone with experiences , I’d love to hear from you.
I met a guy on a online game actually, not a dating site, we werent planning to get along or anything. But, after months, the word love has been mentioned. We text anywhere from 5-300 times a day (NO KIDDING) and play the game online together with lots of messages, and talk on the phone. So now we’re planning to meet, and i’m nervous… Just wondering if anyone has had similar situations, what it was like meeting someone u feel like u know so well. thanks.
LOL Ok I mean if you are both totally honest and have both send INSTANT pictures of what u were doing at that moment, we know what eachother looks like =) lol but thanks =)
this is a dating site for mature singles over 40.
and i want to know it better, cos i think it is good and ready upgrade to be a gold member. but i also think i need more ideas before doing this.
thank you all.
About how much should it cost? How should I go about starting this? Any tips? And finally do you have any helpful links? I have tried to google this question for information but all I get is advice on how to find the right online dating site for me. If you could answer any of these questions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Ok to make a long story short, I signed up on a dating site a few months ago. Not because I am ugly or desperate, etc. It’s because I live in a small town & it is very hard to meet new people. Anyway, I have been talking online (and now have phone number) to a guy for about a week now. He only lives a couple hrs away. We’re hoping to meet up in a week or two to see the chemistry (how we interact, if we’re attracted etc). I will meet in public place & bring my brother along.
Now heres the question: If we hit it off in person too, how much should we hang out before we start a relationship? I just need opinions on this, I don’t know when is too soon. I dont want to scare him off. Guys what do you think of this? If I fall for him completely i just dont want him to get away lol. Should I just let him take the lead? Im just trying to be prepared for this & figure it out..Any insight/tips on this is appreciated!
What is the best online dating site for someone who is sort of a prude? I don’t smoke or drink. I’m not interested in casual hookups or "friends with benefits". I’m looking for a long-term monogamous relationship (hopefully someone who I’d like to marry).
I don’t go to clubs/bars or any socializing places like that. I tend to keep to myself, but it’d be nice to have somebody to spend time with, someone who likes peace & quiet. I’d like to find an old-fashioned kind of fellow. It’s hard for me to find someone with similar interests.
Which site would you recommend & why?? I’ve heard EHarmony has a lot of problems (continuously billing you even after you’ve cancelled your account, etc). What about Match or Chemistry?? How safe are these sites?? What’s the success rate?? How much do they cost?? Thanks!!
Met this girl through an online dating site, we met for drinks and hit it off. She is gorgeous, smart, successful, and there was definitely chemistry between us. A week later, I took her out to dinner and we had a great time. Didn’t hear from her for a couple of days, called her and asked her if she wanted to get together again. She had plans. Waited five days, called her again (expected a no) but she said she wanted to go out again and we met for dinner. We had an amazing kiss at the end of dinner and I thought things went really well (this was Sunday). And she said she definitely wanted to get together again. Sent her a text when I got home telling her that I had fun. She didn’t respond. I sent her an email about this place I want to take her to this weekend. No response.
Whats going on here? If she isn’t interested, why the long kiss? Why three dates? Why talk about the next date?
Am I being too aggressive by calling/texting? I’m not calling everyday (more like once per 4 days) but I feel like I’m the only one making the effort.
I like her. I’m hoping things continue but I’m confused.
The question now is how best to handle this situation.
Should I tell her that I am getting mixed signals and ask her whats what?
Just not call her and wait for her call/text/email and if she doesn’t then oh well?
Just call her again and tell her about this cool place I want to take her and if she wants to get together this weekend?
Tell her that I am not feeling like she is interested and that I am moving on?
I have a completed business plan & a big corporate contract for an online dating site and an online social networking site. These will be two seperate websites and I was just wondering what would be a good domain for each site. Please keep in mind these two sites will be under one Coporation and each name could have something in common, or they can be completely seperate.
Has anyone that 20-30 has success with an online dating site? Ive looked around but some sites look like there just filled with fake profiles of women to lure guys in.
I met this girl through an online dating site, and we met up. We have had a great relationship for the last 3 months — we never fight, she introduces me to her friends, she publicly acknowledges that I’m her boyfriend.
I am leaving to go back to school in the next state in a week, so we won’t be able to be together as much. One of my friends found her profile on that dating site (she never took it down, just changed it to show that she wasn’t single and wasn’t looking) and talked to her online. He asked if she was really "not single" or "not looking" and she said yes. He asked why and she said that she had a guy that she had been talking to for awhile, but it was nothing serious. So then he asked if it was her boyfriend, or just a guy she was talking to, and she said "no he’s not my boyfriend he’s just a guy I talk to."
Well, my friend then told me about this.
Question is, how should I handle this? I called her last night and asked her if we were serious and she said yeah of course we are. I want to confront her but at the same time she didn’t really do anything wrong except say that she didn’t have a boyfriend, which is a lie. How should I confront her about it to where she can’t cover it up and can’t make any excuses or lies to get out of it?
More importantly, how do I confront her without ruining the relationship? Everything is GREAT between us, except for this one thing now….
Edit: I just called her and she said that yeah there are no problems in our relationship, as far as she knows.

Can anyone suggest a free and legitimate dating site. I know the paid ones are supposed to be better but I don’t want to pay for online dating at least not for now. So if you have ever tried a dating site that is free and that you know from experience is also good please let me know about it.
