so i’ve been on all these sites like e-harmony, chemistry, singlesnet, etc. but dang! In order for me to actually communicate with these people I have to pay a subscription! does anyone know a site that’s COMPLETELY free like myspace and what not? because a lot of these sites say FREE but only to view profiles and stuff, I need a totally free site that won’t charge me for looking for someone, help please?
thanks!

How Do I Choose the Best Online Dating Site?

I don’t have a lot of money so I can’t join all of the big dating sites. I am trying to decide between Match.com, Yahoo Personals, eHarmony and Chemistry.com. Which one should I choose?

Any online dating backfires?

Have you ever met someone online..had great chemistry with them..than met and it all crashed and burned? ..how did that go..did you have good chemistry online and not in person? did they not meet your expectations..etc? did you have high hopes?

I lost my mother 3 years ago to breast cancer. It was a really hard road for me and my dad to cope because she was only 43. But its been exceptionally hard watching my dad try to find someone to share his life with. I don’t want him to be alone and its taking him longer than he thought. He’s tried a few of the online dating sites (match, chemistry) and everyone seems more interested in playing silly dating games instead of trying to connect with someone. He’s in his late 40s and really isn’t the go out and meet people type. Anyone have a good experience with one of the dating sites? Or have any other ideas about where he can meet someone?

Who has done the online dating thing?

I don’t get a chance to meet many men. And I don’t think that meeting them at bars is really the best thing! I’ve started "online dating.". I meet one guy from there. He was really nice but there wasn’t any sparks. Now I’m talking to another guy… How many guys am I going to have to meet until I find someone that I have chemistry with?

Anyone else have this problem?

thinking about online dating sites, but would like a recomendation. Yahoo personals, eharmony, chemistry, match.com

I’m on 3 sites: stir.com match.com and chemistry.com Match and Chemistry cost money so I can’t do much anyways. Do you think it is safe for someone to have a profile on there? I have myspace and facebook… but these are different… what do you think… plz help!
I’m 18… and I’ve never had a boyfriend… I’m in love with my best friend, but he never gives me a straight answer to "Will we ever be together" or "Do you like me the same way?" I am so confused… and getting desparate…

Online dating… true romance possible?

So, I’ve recently tried online dating…and it just doesn’t seem like true romance is possible. Basically you’re out there looking for someone because you don’t want to be alone.
To me, love happens when you grow fond of someone…and start adoring them and the chemistry. Online dating seems to kill that natural procession.
Are you actually falling in love with the person or just trying to meet your need to have someone??..
Any thoughts on this??
