I have been seeing this guy since about January 1st.. we met on yahoo personals… anyways.. we have decided to date, " I didn’t know there was a difference between dating/seeing, apparently if you are seeing someone, they are able to see other people? idunno, what he said" We have agreed to stay excusive, which means no other partners.. I prefer that, and I have voiced my opinion about the issue.. Anyways.. I know that he has an ad on every personals site there is/some with his d**k picture, other pictures of himself.. all you have to do is type in the area he lives in, even without subscribing, and his name/pic pops up.. he said he did it to reach a larger group of people, because not everyone uses 1 site… I really wish he would delete every single one of them while we are dating, is this wrong of me? should I just trust what he is saying is true? I don’t want to make him mad, afterall I went to these sites (without subscribing) and looked up his name/area. thanks for any help!

I have so many questions… like about where the relationship is going, but don’t want to scare him away, we haven’t been together long, and it has been going great..
I’m in college, and he works from home/travels a bit for his job.. we see eachother on the weekends/during the week some…. I want to trust him so much, but dont want to end up with a broken heart, like what happened in a previous relationship… Thanks to everyone who gives advice!

I dated "John" briefly several months ago. I knew immediately he was the one I wanted for life. He decided we weren’t soul mates and broke it off, but we remained friends. I ran into him a few weeks later and he asked if he could call me, that he missed talking to me. When he called he asked if he could fix me up with his friend. After several conversations, I reluctantly agreed. The question in the back of my mind was why did he want me to continue to be in his circle of his friends. Anyway, I met his friend, we started dating..I like him, he’s a nice guy. He asked me to move in with him, and due to other circumstances in my life that had nothing to do with him, I agreed. My two children and I moved in with him 6 weeks ago. During the whole process, John and I remained good friends, we talked frequently, etc..During one of our converstaions, I discovered that he still had feelings for me, he just would not admit it due to my situation. I know I’m in love with him, not his friend.

So this is a little about the situation. There is a guy who I have been talking to online for about 1.5 years or so. We met in a Christian chat room, we are both Christians and have a good relationship with God. We no longer go into that chat room, but we have talked through the computer (like on skype and AIM), constantly.

Well things started to change about 2.5 weeks ago. He started asking me what I was looking for in a relationship, about my ex boyfriends, and started flirting with me like crazy. Finally he told me that he likes me more then a friend, and cares deeply for me. The thing is, I really like him too. But I am in California and he is in Texas (so quite some distance). We both said, let’s just see where things go. But since then, it has been CONSTANT flirting, and constant love-connection going on. We are constantly talking about hugging one another, kisses, and things like that. We have even had a few online "dates" like when we both watch the same movie together, and we both chat while we are watching… that type of thing.

We are both hesitant to start a long distance relationship, but things just seem so right when we talk. After talking, flirting and chatting EVERY NIGHT for 3 weeks, and for hours on end. I am starting to feel better about having a long distance relationship.

But he is still so hesitant and doesn’t want to make it "official" yet. I am planning on going to visit him within the next month or so, maybe a little longer. And I am not trying to rush into anything. But I am like, what else can we be doing if it’s a long distance relationship? I feel like we are pretty much boyfriend/girlfriend as it is right now.

My question is, how can I make him more comfortable with starting a relationship with me? And how can I feel better about it? Any advice in this category at all? Is it a good idea to just wait till we officially meet and then start it? Things just seem SO RIGHT.

By the way, I am 24 and he is 22. I can see myself marrying someone like him. I like him a lot, and he likes me a lot.

Ashera: i see what you mean, but that’s why i said they "eventually MEET," not stay with. it could just be someone you were in a class with, or a co-worker, someone you should have gotten to know but didn’t. you just passed them by because you didn’t know they were your soul mate.
