ANYBODY'S view about " Dating " websites..?

I am curious to know what the masses think about this online dating stuff. Has anybody actually found a special somebody? I have thought about it…like, what type of people will answer my ads..lol Which site is a good one to try?? E-Harmony? True.com? Yahoo Personals?? ANY ideas, examples, suggestions are welcome.. thx

this is a site which is like the yahoo answers, well it even has a leader board, check it out, http://www.friendscyberclub.com/ though it went under maintainence, and is to be online from july, means more 20 days from today expected, i was late to join in yahoo answers, so my rank is bad, here am going to start it from the very first day,
They all suck and they cost to much!
my brother is on there and leads women on while he has a different girl every weekend over at his house and i caught my boyfriend putting an add a couple of months ago be careful these guys r very misleading i was watching dateline the other day and every guy on there had a personal ad online and they were trying to hook up with a 14 year old
I think they rarely pan out. I think it’s a great way for desperate people to hook up but I highly doubt that there’s a big success rate from them…
I can honestly say that my old boss use to use them, and a current coworker of mine does it too. Neither one of them met good/compatible men….
I dunno what to tell you. I think I would try something free. You could always just go out and just mingle. Have a friend hook you up…I think paying is a waste of money.
I keep seeing http://www.match.com commericals but I’d be interested to know statistics on dating websites. =P

my sister did it and ended up with the lowest forms of life. I think its for liars,the ugly and rapists
I think the people on the dating sites are similar to those not on the dating site, namely some good and some bad. You have to be careful on the sites and off. I’ve met some nice folks but I’ve found some are rotten ones also. The last person I met told me to be careful of men because they are usually interested primarily in sex. I guess that might be true of women on sites although it wasn’t for me. I’d say give it a try but be careful and cautious.
